Events Terms and Conditions

Events

Bookings

Bookings can be made by email, phone, post, fax or online and are regarded as provisional bookings until a purchase order is supplied or credit card payment is made (where applicable) or an SDI booking confirmation email is received.

Cancellations

Cancellation must be notified at least 48 hours prior to the event taking place, either in writing or by email. If notification is not received, or is within 48 hours of the event, no refund will be given and, where applicable, the free member place will not be reinstated.

Substitutions

A substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge. Written notification within 48 hours of the event is required to substitute a delegate.

Payments

All event fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the event. Please note when making payment by credit card a 2.5% adminstration fee will be applied.

Data Protection

SDI does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others unless you specifically tell us we can pass on your information to a specific sponsor at the event you have attended. Your details will be added to the SDI database in order to process your request. SDI will keep you up-to-date with relevant offers and details or our education, training, information and membership services. If you do not wish to receive any further information or offers from SDI, whether by post, email or telephone please notify is in writing at Database Services, SDI, 21 High Street, Green Street Green, Orpington, Kent BR6 6BG.

SDI members are entitled to free places at our one day events

Silver   2 Places per year - limited to personal use
Gold   4 Places per year - may be used by your team
Platinum   10 Places per year - may be used by your team

Annual Conference

Bookings can be made by post, email phone, credit card or online.

Payment Policy:

Delegate fees must be paid in full before the event. Admission will be refused to delegates if payment has not been received. Bookings made after 1 March 2017 must be paid for by credit card or cheque.

Cancellations:

A refund of 75% of the cost of the ticket will be made for cancellations notified in writing before 30 November 2016.

We regret that no refunds can be made after this date. Substitute delegates are welcome at no extra charge. Written notification within 48 hours of the event is required to substitute a delegate.

Content:

SDI reserves the right to change the programme, speakers or dates at any time.
