Who is it for?

For service desk managers looking to bring their team together by developing team and organisational goals and encouraging open communication. Teams are complex machines and it's not surprising that they occasionally need re-alignment or teambuilding.
 
Your team building workshop will be designed around your specific objectives and goals. These could include:

  • Learning to work as a team
  • Reassessing your team's goals and direction
  • Communicating better as a team
  • Giving your team a boost of energy
  • Sometimes it's as simple as learning more about the people you work with, and sometimes it's complicated, such as working through entrenched difficulties or defining how a long-distance team communicates

What is it about?
SDI's team building workshops can incorporate indoor and outdoor sessions to challenge both the 'cerebral' and the 'physical'. Teams will experience innovation, practical and engaging activities that are both fun and present real learning and development opportunities. All activities are tailored to reflect the ages, abilities and personalities of individuals within your IT service team. 
 
To work effectively you will need agreement on exactly what sort of team you are and ask yourself: what are the goals, what is each member's role, who needs to work closely with whom, what should the game plan be? 
 
Each team building event is created from a specific brief and is tailor-made by working closely with your to ensure the most appropriate programme.

What will I get out of it?
Your tailor-made team building workshop means that you take some time away from the service desk. Your team will work together through discussion, brain storming, game play, role play and goal setting. During the workshop you will sort out problems, put forward new ideas, plan the future, look at the team's 'purpose', 'vision' and 'mission' and learn more about each other as people. Team members will enjoy a fresh perspective, achieve a sense of focus, build confidence and prepare for the real "game" ahead.
