Andrew Brickell, Area Director, Ivanti

Andrew is responsible for the sales team across the UK Public Sector, Ireland and the Middle-East. Andrew has worked with Ivanti, through the various mergers and acquisitions, for over 18 years, having started initially as a Service Management consultant with the business where he implemented Incident and Change Management and Reporting systems. ITSM and IT Asset Management continues to be a focal area for Andrew and the team, as they drive revenue growth and market share across the region for Ivanti.

Alex Allen, Service Desk Manager, Leeds Beckett University

Alex is the IT Service Desk Manager at Leeds Beckett University where his role is to develop and manage the IT Service Desk to ensure delivery of a responsive and customer focused support service. In his three years in post Alex has shown strong leadership, a positive and proactive attitude and most importantly a passion for creating a best in class customer experience. Alex currently leads a team of 12 Service Desk Analysts across the two campuses and is also responsible for the delivery of a sector leading media loans service. Alex has worked at Leeds Beckett University for 10 years, starting as a Media Loans assistant he was then quickly promoted to AV Learning Support Officer and following the merger of the Media Services and IT Department in 2015 he was made the Snr IT/AV Support Specialist. In 2016 Alex was appointed to the role of IT Service Desk Manager making him the youngest manager in the department. Alex has led the team on an ambitious service improvement journey which has recently enabled the IT Service Desk to achieve Three Star Service Desk Certification.
