ARU is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.
About the Role:
IT Services are responsible for all aspects of information-technology support and delivery across our University, providing a first-class experience to our students, staff and other stakeholders as they pursue their studies and work both on-campus and beyond.
This is your opportunity to join our IT Support team, delivering a wide range of IT support to our customers and providing a point of escalation within our team for complex queries.
With a degree or part-qualified professional qualification, you’ll have good communication skills and a customer-orientated outlook. Knowledge of a broad range of desktop applications and software tools is essential. Experience of working with computer systems in a corporate environment would be advantageous.
We follow a shift pattern between 7.00am and 8.00pm on weekdays with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend work.
