The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to work as part of a team to service and support a range of hardware and software systems within the Landmark Group. You will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent tasks with varying technologies in an exciting competitive environment, with exposure to a wide range of existing and emerging technologies.

You will support products, services and systems via on premise, cloud or co-located/managed platforms. The role will include knowledge management and supporting the teams technical and personal skills development.

The role will involve:

  • Providing technical service and support activities for our internal and external customers
  • Visiting offices located in the United Kingdom and Eire to provide physical office support
  • Supporting the Operations Team in ensuring the smooth function of our applications and systems; liaising with customer/technical support teams, application support, developers, product managers, suppliers and other systems administrators as required to ensure the same level of service
  • Providing operational support in responding to users calls, diagnosing and deciding on the most appropriate solution
  • Working with other support analysts and service managers to identify repeat incidents and escalate into our Problem Management log
  • Ensuring our applications and systems are functioning correctly
  • Working with other systems administrators in maintaining applications and related systems in accordance with prioritises and standards
  • Keeping all service and support documentation is kept up to date and to agreed standards

About You

To be considered for the role you will need to have MCP or equivalent with ITIL v3 or v4 highly desirable, however not essential. You should also have;

  • Previous experience in a service and support role
  • Effectible ticket management
  • Strong technical support skills and experience Driving Licence and Passport for travel across the UK and Eire
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences
  • Current drivers’ licence and passport for travel across the UK and Eire
