We have a new and exciting role to join and provide technical support to Microlise’s sales and presales teams this new role will provide technical product sales support, analysis of prospect/ customer requirements and testing those requirements against product features, configuration and maintenance of demonstration equipment and environments and triage of customer change requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular maintenance of demonstration systems and equipment
  • Determine configuration and data requirements for new product features so that they can be demonstrated to customers and prospects
  • Development of proof of concept solutions, e.g. bespoke reports or variations of system configurations
  • Answer customer, prospect and colleague ‘what-if’ style questions by email or telephone
  • Technical authoring for updating internal knowledge systems and bid support
  • Attendance at technical meetings with customers to take notes and provide second opinion to the lead consultant and resolutions to changes/ queries
  • Keep abreast of terminology and other concerns of the Transport and Logistics industry
