Overview
This ITIL® 5 Foundation course, aligned to the new ITIL (often referred to as ITIL 5), provides comprehensive first-level training for anyone involved in the provision, support, or delivery of IT-enabled services in a modern digital organisation
The new ITIL introduces evolutions that make the framework more practical, flexible, and relevant for people working with digital products and services — across roles, teams, and organisations of all sizes. It offers guidance that works across the entire organisation, from leadership and strategy through to day-to-day operations, helping teams collaborate more effectively, align priorities, and consistently create value in both stable and fast-changing environments.
The ITIL® Foundation course introduces the Service Value System (SVS), which describes how all the components and activities of an organisation work together to enable value creation. The ITIL SVS supports a wide range of ways of working, including Agile, DevOps and Lean, alongside more traditional process and project management approaches, providing a flexible, value-oriented operating model.
Pricing includes the exam fee – candidates can sit the exam remotely up to 12 months after the date of the course.

Course Content
Aligned to the new ITIL, this course introduces learners to the management of modern IT-enabled and digital services, helping them develop a shared understanding of key concepts, terminology, and best practice.
Delivered by Simone Jo Moore who has been closely involved in bringing the new ITIL to life as an Ambassador, the course explains how ITIL has evolved to reflect modern technologies, digital products, and contemporary ways of working, while maintaining its core focus on value creation.
Learners will gain a clear understanding of the ITIL framework, including how organisations can use it to design, deliver, and continually improve services in today’s fast-changing environments.
The content also supports candidates preparing for the ITIL® Foundation certification exam, providing both the theoretical grounding and practical context needed to succeed.
Simone’s involvement in the development of new ITIL give her a level of insight you simply don’t get from someone who’s only read the guidance second-hand. She understands not just what the framework says, but the thinking behind it.
Who Should Attend
This course is best suited to any IT professional, anyone involved in managing business relationships and customers/users involved in the provision or consumption of IT services.
If you have an existing ITIL®3 or 4 Foundation qualification and wish to enhance your existing knowledge, attending the ITIL®5 Foundation course is the best way to keep your skills and learning current and gain exposure to new ways of working.

This is not a pre-recorded webinar, and you will need:
- A computer with a webcam (We ask that webcams be turned on throughout the duration of the course.)

- Ensure you connect 15 minutes before the session starts and log-in as a guest.
Our ITIL sessions are all run via Teams, where a link will be sent out 1 week before the training.
