IT Service Week 2019

Posted on Wednesday 11 December 2019.

By Robyn Fearon, Head of Marketing, SDI

They came, they flew apprentices over the office, they made slo-mo batman video’s in the University Library, they dressed up their dogs, they dressed up themselves, they took photos, baked cakes, raised money for charity…(the list goes on) – you all know who you are !  -Service Desk Superheroes that’s who!

IT Service Week (ITSW) is a week-long event run annually by SDI, for IT Service Operations to celebrate and promote their great service. Each year we have a theme to guide the week’s activities and this year’s was Superheroes! We also had an ITSM service improvement theme on each day of ITSW, where industry insight and resources were made available on each day of the week. You can still access these on the links below:

Alongside the superhero fun was the IT Service Week awards survey, collecting votes for the ‘Top Service Desk Team ITSW19‘ and ‘Top Analyst ITSW19.’ I can now reveal the official IT Service Week 2019 winners:

Congratulations to this year’s winners!

“The team are over the moon to have won Top Service Desk, we have worked hard to improve and a lot of things on the Pertemps support desk and the wider IT infrastructure during 2019 and it is fantastic that our customers got on board and voted for us! We all really enjoy IT Service Week and I would encourage others to take part and celebrate their teams and the hard work we all put in.”

Gavin Dyer, Service Desk Manager, Pertemps Service Desk

This year’s IT Service Week was on fire!  We could barely keep up with the promotional activities going on around the world!  Like this:  (see #ITSW19 to see more)
